Customized Networking Curricula
Module: Network Fundamentals & Introduction to Routing and
Switching Technologies
Duration: 5 days
This module will enable you to understand basic fundamentals of
networking including the OSI layered model, IP/IPX protocols, Network
addressing, LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols and basic operations
of Routers and Switches.
Module: Advanced Routing Technologies
Duration: 5 days
This module helps the participants understand configuration
and monitoring of advanced routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP and
BGP,
defining policy based routing and handling large internetworks based
on multiple protocols. This also helps them to plan scalability of
the network infrastructure.
Module: Advanced Remote Access Technologies
Duration: 5 days
The Advanced Remote Access Module focuses on the technologies used
to provide connectivity to mobile/home users and small branch offices
without dedicated connectivity. This covers various technologies
to be used up for dialup access like ISDN and X.25 using PAP/CHAP
authentication protocols. It also highlights the configuration of
network devices to prioritize the network traffic as per application
needs.
Module: Advanced Switching Technologies
Duration: 5 days
The Advanced Switching module covers the devices used in Campus
and Local area networks. It aims at providing in-depth understanding
of design and configuration of multi-layer switching devices. The
emphasis is laid on improving the performance on the network using
VLAN and multicasting techniques.
Module: Supporting and Troubleshooting Internetworks
Duration: 5 days
This module covers various troubleshooting techniques and tools
used in internetworks. The monitoring and diagnostic command set
of Internetworking Operating Software is covered to isolate the trouble
in IP/IPX protocols and FR/ISDN/PPP technologies. A detailed exercise
of isolating faults in Routers and Switches is also worked out.
Module: Introduction to LAN/WAN Technologies
Duration: 5 days
This module will enable them to understand basic fundamentals of
networking including the OSI layered model, Structured cabling concepts,
IP/IPX protocols, Network addressing, LAN/WAN technologies, routing
protocols and basic operations of Routers and Switches. This also
provides an overview to Network Management.
Module: Introduction to TCP/IP Communication
Duration: 2 days
This module covers the details of the entire TCP/IP suite of protocols.
This module enables the learner to understand the basic concept of
TCP/IP communication. Concepts of protocols and services such as
DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP, ARP, RARP, Routing principle and ICMP etc.
are covered in details. Lastly it also covers the advanced implementations
of IP and the future of IP communication.
